Keeping in line with the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Al Tayyar Travel Group Holding Company is at a very strategic stage in its growth and expansion, becoming the most prominent companies regionally and globally. Continuing the growth in March 2015, The Extra Ordinary General Assembly agreed to increase the capital from SAR 1.5 billion to SAR 2 billion, an increase of 33.3%.  This phenomenal increase, which has been generated mainly from retained earnings, is unprecedented in the industry, particularly when considering the fiercely competitive environment in which Al Tayyar Travel Group Holding Company operates and the uncertain domestic and global economic situation. The accomplishment has been possible with the immense trust from our shareholders, partners and customers which further enables us to pursue our ambitious plans to expand and improve our operations and the skills of our workforce across subsidiaries in various sectors and maintain the highest levels international standards in our services. Alongside, the company is playing a key role in creating employment opportunities for Saudi nationals enhancing their competitive abilities in the region and internationally.

Al Tayyar Travel Group has entered into multiple partnerships and successfully acquired organizations globally, the most recent collaboration being the purchase of Kenzi Hotel in Makkah worth 1.5 billion SAR as a step in the strategic development of the Hajj and Umrah services.  Other business alliances include acquisition of Muthmera Real estate Company, 70% stake in Al Hanouf Tourism Services Company in Egypt, Elegant Resorts, a luxury travel company owned by Thomas Cook in UK, 100% stake in CTM, a British Company offering services to Britain, Ireland and Scotland, agreements with major airlines in the Middle East and other regions, namely Gulf Air, Jet Asia, Nepal Airlines, Aegean Airlines, a Greek airline which is a member of the Star Alliance Global Institution. The Group was honored with the international accreditation awarded by IATA in recognition of its committed high quality services and contributions to the travel sector by Al Tayyar Travel Group.

The Board of Directors has excelled in capitalizing all opportunities in working towards the fulfillment of the company’s objectives and the interest of the shareholders regionally and globally. Today the group has the widest industry network and is an exclusive travel company in rural and urban areas of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
